Fluid Building Services

One third of all waste going to landfill comes from the construction and demolition industry. Nearly 80 percent of this waste is clean, excavated material such as concrete, bricks and timber which can often be recycled. Reducing and recyling waste can also be done at an individual level when building or renovating an existing property.

Fluid was delighted when clients asked us during demolition to salvage as much as possible of the existing materials, fittings and appliances so that it could be passed on to others to re-use.

The property is undergoing a major internal overhaul, which would normally generate a significant amount of waste. It is great to be involved in what will be a challenging and creative project, but also one that seeks to lessen the impact on our environment.
