Originally a council building, The “Watermark” was converted to apartments some 20 years ago. Generally used for short stay rentals, the building desperately needed a face lift.
Fluid were involved in the design work to come up with innovative ways to make the old girl glow.
Fluid renovated every balcony, replaced and concealed all the services, including all the air conditioning units, doing our best to conceal them, while still ensuring their accessibility for future maintenance.
New paint and membrane systems, along with a new glass awning at ground level, has added some panache to existing commercial shops. Also on the “To Do” list were two new pools and common toilets. If it’s tricky we love it, and this building had it all.
