Over the last twenty years, we have supported several community initiatives and charities. Recently Clint and Fluid Building Services were recognized for the contribution.

Nanette and Clint’s Remarkable Contribution to Tour de Cure

$50,000 donation from tour decure to Richard Scolyer brain cancer research
Nanette and Clint have been supporting Tour de Cure since 2014.
In addition, they have personally raised over $950 000 for Tour de Cure and, as the most significant fundraisers, were humbled to be given the opportunity by the TDC board to present a cheque for $ 50,000 to Richard Scolyer. This is to continue his fantastic breakthrough work with brain cancer.
This was an emotional evening as Nanette and Clint became involved with Tour de Cure following the death of a good friend, Adam Barraclough, from Brain Cancer.
We continue to strive to allow people the fullest of lives.

A Worthy Cause

A cause very close to Fluid is Tour de Cure, who raise funds and awareness for Cancer research, support and prevention programs across Australia, primarily through cycling events.

Tour de Cure’s ambitious goal to cure cancer and their well-being program of “Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy” resonates strongly with Fluid.

Clint has participated in Tour de Cure’s annual Signature Tour since 2013, covering in excess of 70,000kms in training and riding over 7,000kms around Australia in that time.

Fluid Sponsored cycling team

Community is a big part of the culture at Fluid Building Services.

Recently some of the members of the team gave their time and handy work to cycling charity Tour de Cure and transformed a caravan into a “kick-ass” cycling mechanics van to add to the Tour de Cure vehicle fleet.

The caravan, donated to the charity by Jayco, underwent a full internal re-fit with the addition of work benches, bike racks, compressors and tool storage.

The end result? Essentially a bike workshop shrunk into a small space. Small, but efficient!
